Intermediate & Advanced Surf Courses
Our innovative and unique coaching system for intermediate and advanced surfers is thought of as one of the best in Europe. We have coached right up to top international competitors and have over 29 years of experience at the intermediate and advanced levels of surfing.

If you are just moving onto unbroken waves and your first good turns, or if you’re more advanced and your already trying to perfect manoeuvres , then our coaching will be perfect for you.
We explain techniques clearly and always give you the correct and positive feedback that’s needed. We know we can make a huge difference to your surfing. We emphasise style, power and control in your surfing. Women’s intermediate and advanced surfing is progressing all the time and our coaching and coaches reflect that too.
When you’re with us we will cover, at this level....
- Perfecting Take Off / Pop up
- Acceleration techniques
- Core Balance in manoeuvres
- Top to Bottom turns
- Paddle out techniques / duck dive etc
- Cut backs, off the lips, floaters
- Style and Power
As with all our courses we will be giving you invaluable background knowledge. Surfboard design, improving wave count, surf fitness training, types of breaks and many other subjects too.
Especially we want to be able to advise you on the direction of your future surfing when you leave us. The coaching relationship with our clients and the high number of return clients we have is one of the great reasons for our success, and of course we are open all year round. We hope that this will be the start of a future coaching relationship with the school.
Our video analysis package, board design service and the use of our excellent range of boards here will help you of course.
Our schedule at the beach
Our schedule is a simple one with all the beach time being a mixture of in water surf teaching and coaching and on the beach feedback, technique drills and micro lectures.

All courses include a rest day taken after the first two days
Using our transport service from the resorts
Pick up time Puerto Del Carmen............ 9:55
Pick up time Costa Teguise....................9:55 or 9:25 by arrangement.
Due to the distance we do not offer a transport service from Playa Blanca.
Using your own transport?
If you make your way to us by rental car we will always supply you with directions on line and a map of our 10:25 meeting point in Famara.
