Accommodation and the Island
Accommodation for many of you will be in the beautiful village
of Caleta de Famara. This village is in a protected area, as is our
beach Playa de Famara. Staying here you will find you are in the
most tranquil of surroundings but if you feel the need for some
nightlife other than a great meal and a beer you will find it a
short trip away at the busy resort of Puerto del Carmen. For whatever
reasons some of you may find that you are staying in the holiday
resorts of Puerto del Carmen or Costa de Teguise don't worry you
will be picked up each morning by our minibuses. In each 5 day
course there is, of course, a rest day, giving you time to chill
out. Off course you may want to stay longer on the Island than
just a week and that’s no problem with us at Surf School
Lanzarote. You may want to hire a Rental Car while you are here,
and details of Rental Car companies are given in our information
form which we can send you by email, or contact www.lanzarote.com.
We are sorry but Surf School Lanzarote cannot provide accommodation
only.

These apartments have 2 or 3 bedrooms with have spacious
living rooms and well-equipped kitchens. All linen is supplied.

During your stay in Lanzarote you may wish to have a look around
this incredible island. A small island 56 miles long, 20 miles wide
it is totally volcanic. Producing a surreal yet beautiful landscape.
The island is part of the World Biosphere and is left very much in
its natural state. Playa de Famara is considered by many to be its
most beautiful beach. Average water temperatures in winter 18C and
25C in summer. So, if you are bringing your own suit a 3mm is enough
but don't worry Surf School Lanzarote has the perfect suits here
for you and for every body size
