Tim Jones -- Director of Surf School
Lanzarote is, in the words of Colin Wilson, Secretary General of
the European Surfing

of the British Surfing Associations most
experienced and respected Surfing coaches". Surf School

Association approved surf school outside the UK outside the UK and the only International Surfing Association Registered School in the Canaries.
Tim has been teaching Surfing for 23 years and holds the British
Surfing Associations top coaching qualification, and is a Trainer

1967 and in that time spent 15 years making Surfboards for many European
companies as well as developing Surf schools. In this time, he has
also traveled extensively. Tim's love of Surf coaching and the development
of Surfing coaching skills is at the heart of the success of Surf
School Lanzarote. To quote Colin again "Tim has great
experience of coaching people of all ages and abilities, and is himself
a highly
skilled Surfer." He has taken an active part in writing
the coaching manual for the European Surfing Federation. Tim
is a British Surfing Association Level 4 Instructor, and a Trainer
and Assessor
of Surf Coaches for the British Surfing Association.

All Instructors with Surf School Lanzarote are themselves skilled
Surfers. They hold British Surfing Association Level 1
and 2 qualifications and in addition to this they are either Royal
Life Saving Society or Surf Live Saving Association Qualified Beach
Lifeguards. These
qualifications are reassessed constantly insuring that at all times
not only do you have a highly skilled Instructor working with you
at Surf School Lanzarote but the security of knowing that you are
cared for by Qualified Beach Lifeguards.
