Surf School Lanzarote

Surf School Lanzarote, Europe's finest Surf school based in the beautiful Canary Islands, is using the most advanced techniques acquired over 22 years of teaching by director Tim Jones. His team are all British Surfing Association Level 1,2,3 and 4 qualified Instructors. Also all Instructors are Professional Beach Lifeguards. Surf School Lanzarote is a British Surfing Association Level 4 Approved Surf School, the BSA's highest award and is the only British Surfing Association Level 4 Approved surf school outside the UK and the only International Surfing Association Registered School in the Canaries. These qualifications ensure the highest standards of quality coaching and safety.

Based at Playa de Famara on the north side of the Island, very few places in Europe enjoy the wave consistency of Famara Beach. Warm water, a sandy beach and natural beauty are all conducive to progressive learning.

Warning. At the moment there are a number of surf schools operating in Lanzarote who claim to be BSA approved and in their advertising and their agents advertising even carry a BSA logo. They are not BSA Approved schools and have not fulfilled the requirements to regard themselves as such.
