Surfing is fun but can be physically hard and many people may want to relax and have the services of a professional physiotherapist on hand.

Here in Famara we offer at Surf School Lanzarote a sports massage and physio service with Isabel at Energize. Her practise is based in Famara Bungalows.

Isabel began her studies back in 1997 in Germany, she studied alternative Medicine followed by Physiotherapy, as well as many courses to gain a good foundation and a rich source of knowledge in order to help you.

Amongst other places she has succesfully completed her studies in Barcelona (Kinetena, escuela de terapias alternativas,) ISAF,Instituto de Ciencias de salud y actividad fisica and Instituto Formación Universitaria, Madrid, University of Ayurveda and Naturopathy medicines Opuma), Germany (Wuerzburg, School for alternative medicine,Verbandsschule VDH) and the United Kingdom (Lancaster, Jesson Clinic).
and has been offering various treatments ,specialized in Sports and Remedial Masage.

Since 1999 Isabel has been working in Lanzarote, offering Deep Tissue and manipulative Masage treatments as well as Relaxation Massages, Reflexology and other alternative treatments that will improve flexibility and muscular pain whilst restoring your body as well as relaxing body and mind.

Hi Tim,

I wanted to write to you and your team, as the surf lessons we had on Monday
and Tuesday were so great. We are going again in July (in Devon - much less
exotic) and we hope to improve on some of the skills we learnt with you. I

Thanks for a great three days of surfing, I finally stood up haha!! I really had a great time and met some lovely people on the course too. God help Sarah and Diana as Tracy and I shall be catching up with them to go surfing :-)

Have started pilates as I am determined to nail this sport!!

Hi there Tim

Been meaning to email for ages just to say what an amazing time I had at the surf school way back in July! Really loved my 5 days and learnt so much!! All the instructors were fantastic, v skilled, knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging and I would recommend the school to anyone whether a total beginner or experienced. Totally loved it and will certainly try and make it back!
